I almost have the elixir for either. I'm an early TH9 with 220 spaces. I do rely on GoWiPe mostly for my important CW attacks. I'm wanting to throw witches into the mix during most attacks. I'm not sure which to level up though. Ive heard that level two witches are a BIG improvement over one, but I rely a lot on my golems so I don't know.
Witches for sure. I use witches L2 in almost every attack in a witch/wiz combo to kill enemy cc and then they are my cleanup crew.

Golems are better IMO, especially for Gowipe/Wiwi's.
Lvl 1 witch is sufficient. You have plenty of wiz for firepower in these kind of attacks, you need the tanks.
It's preference I guess but witches get killed rather quickly with splash. Golems are your backbones to these type of attacks.
Golems also take quite a bit longer in the lab I believe.
Youre obviously not very experienced with the gowiwi or gowipe strategy. Golems should be your primary focus.
Both are important I'd say golems to 4 if you're already using Gowipe. But defo get witches up straight after.

i may say Golem before Witch (but not in my part though, coz I upgraded Witch first before Golem).
love my witches lvl2. use it to kill cc troops in war and also as supporter in fights. Actually build Golem lvl4, but I recommend to do the witch first
