Are these items destroyed during the raid or do they reconstruct like a destroyed village, what percentage of the gems/elixer is taken, does the percentage taken deduct how much village owner can get from said obstacle or tombstone? Posts are better received when most aspects are addressed in original post. I like the idea tho
I would say they are destroyed when they are raided or collected. It would be the same percentage as for normal farming. This would entice players to logon regularly and keep their lawn clean for sure. I also think that there should be a set time for each obstacle and that multiple troops would not reduce that time exponentially. Example: two people can work twice as fast on an obstacle but three cannot work 3x as fast typically. Above a certain number and the troops split to go to a different obstacle instead of 40 goblins trying to search a tree stump for a gem.
I would also limit the ability to certain troops. Dragons or balloons could not collect for example. Supercell could decided what would fit in best with their plans and how they think the troops respond.
What about players who like their obstacles and collect a certain one around their base, or players with Christmas trees or Halloween headstones they would like to keep? I would vote against destroyed personally..especially seeing as a gem box can appear overnight and then ur shield wears off...boom u lose 25 gems just because u can't be on 24 hours a day. Just my personal opinion
I agree about the special items. I like them myself. Perhaps these can remain as non-collectable by attacking forces. Maybe then limit it to gem boxes and tombstones (the tombstones are not instant like normal however).
The chances of losing a gem box would be only high for those people who do not log on regularly or those who are inactive in my opinion. Supercell could have these respawn at a faster rate possibly if you lost one to a raid but I don't see any issue in the concept like it is. You would have the chance of winning one as well so it should balance out. I mean really, how often do you see a gem box at the village you are attacking and how often are you attacked and have a gem box sitting there that you have not collected. Also, remember that the attacking force cannot collect until they have destroyed the base 100% and then can only collect as much as the remaining time allows. So each obstacle takes from 5 to 30 seconds to collect I think depending on the obstacle. And the troops normally go for the nearest first in a random pattern. They could only clear so many.
