A mysterious failed attack... I'm baffled... please, please enlighten me!

Hey guys,

Hoping to get some insight from the infinite wisdom of the COC forums lol... I've watched this replay over and over again and I can't figure out why my pekkas melted in less than a second when they reached the core. From what I can see, 2 of the 3 were at almost full hp (3500hp), and I calculated that the defenses in the core would reach an approximate 900dps (2 mult♥♥♥♥e infernoes, 2 lvl 1 xbows, 1 lvl 2 xbow, and damage of all clan troops). Can someone please tell me what in the world happened to them? I know my lightning sort of masked what happened... is it possible that lightning now hurts your own troops and they took double damage???

PS. I know it wasn't the best attack.. golems were clumped together being virtually useless

It took them around 5 seconds to die in the core, the wiz combined are doing like 250 splash dps, and they had already taken some damage from the giant bombs inferno

I'm in Masters and know how you feel...

Premmie TH10 bases that has nothing but 2 sticks of inferno and there is nothing you can do about it.

You might win some, but 1 defeat and its all back to you original position...and worst is, you get revenged of 2 stars and rob you of more cups.

Anyway, its time to farm again, get better troops and go up straight to Champs.

And for what you can do, have you tried Valks instead of Pekka? Use at least 10~12 Valks?....But make sure the sides are clear before sending em in. And I always bring along 1 heal spell. Remember to rage at the core.

I don't think so... after they jumped over using jump spell, 2 out of the 3 pekkas were still almost at full HP. The 1 pekka died normally, but the two pekkas that entered where inferno was looks like they just died instantly after I cast lightning. Also, how is it if the pekkas died that my king, who has also bunched up with the pekkas and has 1.2k less HP, survived? It makes no sense. I think it was a bug.

They moved towards the barbarian king when the lightning strikes and died under the tesla tower, or at least that is what I saw. If you could, upload in HD.

Did you see the Dragon in the clan castle? There's your answer.

Nothing in your arsenal took out the dragon and it fried your PEKKAS and BK.

Drag. Two L5 tesla. 2 xbows. Two L6 mortars and BK can do a lot of damage. Pekka only has 3500 hp and half that against tesla plus heal spell is negated under inferno.

I see why your army melted I think TH9 will always have hard time against central inferno towers
