It's not any easier at th8 as the de drill is a reasonable 900 de a day if you collect it at max twice. That's nothing considering your de will be looted along the way. Don't rely on getting more de as a th8 than a th7 because it won't happen right away. I got my king to lvl 5 at th7 just by barching 1st or 2nd layer storages in gold 1. Not hard at all, so people need to stop thinking th7 is hard to get de at. The drill isn't your savior, it's just a small boost in your daily gain.
Get BK at TH7, upgrade him at th8. thats what people say. DE is much easier at th8, I tell from experience.Quote:

Th8 already takes long enough though. Why not take the extra week at th7 to get it? That's what I did, and that shaved off my time at th8Quote:

Tghough I woud've done loghtning + keep trophy attacks before I upgraded to make sure I had the king.
Go to C3 at TH7 and the BK becomes easy to get and max. After i got my BK he was constantly upgrading until at lvl 5. I also maxed all my DE troops with no issues. Staying in Silver or Gold would not work. He is worth a lot at lvl 5 with the ability, it helps a lot in clan wars, and can help save a raid too.
The Barb King is one of the first things you want to get when you get to TH 7.
It is much easier at th7 now with increased war loot. Find a decent war clan and do heavy elixir attacks and save about 1800-2000 de per war by dragoning the other team's weak th8s.Quote:
