Laboratory Level 7 Upgrade Priority

Hey guys,

I have been at TH9 for a while and I am just upgrading troops in my laboratory, and I wanted your view on which troops/spells to upgrade first.

As a bit of background I use BARCH a lot in normal raids, as I am farming to try and max TH9.

Upgrades left:

Barbs - level 6
Healer - level 4
PEKKA - level 2 & 3
Healing - level 5
Rage - level 5
Jump - level 2
Hogs - Level 4 & 5
Valk - level 2, 3 & 4
Golem - level 2, 3 & 4
Witch - level 2
Lava hound - level 2 & 3

As I use BARCH, I will upgrade barbs soon but wanted to know which once of these (if any) are more important to get done now.

i did what i used first in war and during farming, i just hit th10 and i am doing the same thing. i am doing minions first

My minions are maxed as they are brilliant when I use BAM instead of BARCH. That's why i'm thinking do barbs, hogs and rage as I use these for farming and wars. But I havent really used troops like Golems and PEKKA so didn't know if I should do these earlier to get the benefit of these in the future?

Upgrade your GoWiPe troops, i.e., pekkas, golems, and jump spells.

your war troops are god awful. go ahead and do barch, but if the 2 dps for L6 arch or 15hp on L6 barb is make or breaking your barch then you are doing something wrong.

Personally, I also did war troops first. Did L2-4 golem in succession, plan loons and witch next.

after all of that, ill do L6 barch. IDC what anyone says L6 vs L5 doesn't make a difference in collector raids which are 99% of my loot comes from.

That's why I took so long to upgrade the archer to level 6 as I thought it was a lot of elixir for not a great increase in stats.

At the moment I have loads of elixir so I am looking at doing an elixir upgrade rather than dark, so it is better to do PEKKA instead twice to boost that instead of the barb? Is worth doing rage as well before barb as I use this for war with whatever troops I use? My loons are maxed as well as mins so balloonian is an option for war currently.

Went TH9 myself at the time of last update --- I left barbs and archers, because I heard they were reducing cost, still not got around to them --- I think you will get more benefit from your other troop upgrades --- If you have lvl5 minions, you can still BAM effectively with lvl5 bar/archer, and Lvl6 balloons, with lvl5 minions can be great fun, as well as very effective....

(if you go that way - ballon/minion, then I'd also do rage - raging minions can easily wipe out the core of a base )

That's what I did as I'm sure archers level 6 were originally 7.5m, so I did the loons and giants to max instead. I think rage will be my next upgrade, and I will leave the barb on the back burner. Have you upgraded your PEKKAS and golems yet. I have found I haven't used them so I don't see the point at the moment although I know I will in the future with GoWiPe.

get pekker max L3 first. L4 rage is good enough.

pekker L3, golems, heal 5, rage 5...just make sure you have a 30spot CC and get a max gol for war from ur clan

official order:
PEKKA - level 2 & 3
Golem - level 2, 3 & 4
Healing - level 5,6 (only do 5)
rage -5
Witch - level 2
Hogs - Level 4 & 5
Barbs - level 6
Healer - level 4
Jump - level 2
Valk - level 2, 3 & 4
Lava hound - level 2 & 3

I'm huge on war, so thats why its biased

I did pekka3 and golem2 at TH8.... Can effectively gowipe and gowiwiipe/gowiwi with those levels -- allthough i usually get a lvl3 golem from a clanmate, for war....

It is quite fun to use, and can usually 2star a high end th9/low end th10 in war with it.... But I have more success with Loons/minions/hounds - probably because I'm more experienced with the troop combo...:o
