If Hidden Tesla Tower is a tower and counts towards star in an attack..... Is it theoretically possible to place it in a corner away from the main base so that the enemy can never find it and hence never get a 3 star on a base?
I have asked many of my clanmates but they don't have any answer.

Lvl 7 hidden tesla is awesome... takes 12 days to upgrade but when done... its worth its cost and weight!

in clan war... some (brillant) "jerk" putted one of his tesla right in the corner of his base... when luring the cc one of my clanmates got owned and had to deal with the cc and a tesla lvl5 or 6 hitting at him... he didn't had enough troops to deal that imbroglio... that messed the raid badly...
it was brillant as idea... never saw it coming
just bad that it was against ours attack but still... brillant

I could be wrong but i do think they appear automatically after 51% of destruction is achieved on the defending village.

Not sure but I think that somewhere between 50% and 52% destruction, the Teslas show themselves.
