Should I hold of upgrading to level 6 th?

Hi, I'm near the top of silver league 3, I'm still upgrading my walls to level 4 and am nearly maxed out on upgrading my village. I already seem to attract raiders of level 8+ th, if I upgrade to level 6th will I attract raiders who are even higher who I don't stand a chance against In defence? Thanks, also I'm finding it hard t save

No need to max everything. Max everything you can *except* leave yourself enough things to upgrade while waiting for your base to finish. IE, if it takes 4 days to upgrade, leave yourself 4 days worth of buildings to upgrade in the meantime to maximize your growth.

If you've already maxed your Splash towers, Army Camps, Lab researches, walls to level 4, at least one barracks maxed, I'd say you may go for TH 6. Why not single-targeting defenses? Defenses don't really matter at a TH 6. Of all the TH levels, the one attacked mostly by higher levels is TH 6 because it's an easy target for TH 7 players since they have an extra Army Camp (a total of 200 army) & they can easily barch their way to a complete 3 star victory on you. Max your Splash towers to minimize the chance since you'll mostly be hit by barch army!

In my opinion, max your farming troop upgrades (barbs, archers, giant, goblins if you use them) and upgrade your TH as soon as they're ready. In retrospect, I would have just rushed to TH7. 200 camp space, 4 barracks, and lvl 4 troops are going to help you farm WAY faster than waiting around at lower levels.
