What is up with the top players bases now days? Most have their th really close to the edge, walls are scattered everywhere, same with buildings. This doesn't seem to be that effective but I have seen some players with defense wins with these base so not sure if it works or not. Just want to know the purpose of the base :)
they keep their base jumbled up while theyre online so people dont have the option to "practice" on their base. before they log off they will change their base to the way it was originally designed
They do that when they're on shield or "clouding" to prevent their bases from being sandboxed. However, if they get dc'ed/mistime their shield, then the lucky person who finds them will most likely 3* them.
What do you mean by "practice"? I don't see how that's possible when they're online. But that seems like a very time consuming thing to change your base every time you go off. Wouldn't it waste a chance of finding a decent raid because top players play for like 6hrs before getting booted off. I hear it's extremely hard to find good trophy raids so why waste time making these bases? It's not like people can practice on a base when visiting.Quote:

Also, it doesn't only happen in Champ League, it happens over all leagues. Pokeball, Tesla Theme Park, and Ringus had all been sandboxed to death.
