People start laughing when I tell them that I sometimes spend money on CoC because it is a mobile game. I don't care what it is, as long as I am enjoying it I like to pay for it. It's the same as buying once a month a new console game or going out partying, everything that keeps us entertained should be fine paying for it. Well that's it for me.
How do your friends react when you tell them?

While I see why people would laugh at others for using money on a free game, it makes me laugh when I think about how people spend money on movies, concerts, sports games, etc since you can see those for free on TV too. Like with those items, the money paid is to increase the enjoyment

People laugh at all sorts of things. Some people laugh at others when they spend on fine dining or buying any sort of console games.
As you grow older you learn that you are capable of making good decisions without others' interference and thus you wouldn't care what others think.

In my experience no, not really. After all we are the ones paying to keep the game running.
