OLD ingredients/machinery - NEW products? Here goes...
Someone on this forum had a very brilliant idea of adding new products using whatever we already have, and to streamline production times of old products. YES!
The list: Please feel free to add on….
Milk:
more ice cream flavors (coffee, mocha, pumpkin-toffee, cherry, berry, pumpkin, chocolate chip, mocha chip)
ice cream cakes
yogurt, buttermilk
sour cream
mayonnaise [sour cream and eggs]
cottage cheese
ricotta and mozzarella
condensed milk for the candy machine and cake mixes.
Add sheep milk and make parmesan and romano cheeses for pasta dishes (we'll need a pasta maker anyway).
Wool: mittens, socks, blankets, rugs
Goat milk: soap, lotion, yogurt
Beeswax: used in lotion and soap making
Olive oil kitchen soap
Veggies, grains, and fruit: Corn, rice, apple cider, raspberry - vinegars and salad dressings (can be used in BBQ and pickle making)
popsicles: blackberry-apple, very-berry, lemon and combinations
More creative soup mixes - potato-bacon (potato, tomato-rice, corn-and-jalapeño chowder)
Salsa
custard/flan [made with eggs]
Potato chips
corn chips
chocolate chips
toffee chips
Jalapeño corn bread
cherry pie
chocolate cream pie
mocha chip yule log
baked fruit puddings
apple/cherry turnovers or strudel
bagels/donuts
scones
buttermilk biscuits
pretzels
bread/rice pudding (someone already suggested)
Start mining salt (can't believe that was missed!). If cucumbers and vinegars are added, we can make pickles in the "jam maker" :)
Jam and sauce combinations: apple-jalapeño, chocolate-cherry, cherry-lemon, lemon curd, apple-caramel, blackberry-apple, very-berry, chocolate raspberry sauce, mocha chip (or plain), pumpkin-caramel, sugar syrup-pumpkin, and butterscotch. Please reduce jam making time - it's not realistic even by "real life" standards: 3-4 hours is plenty!
Halloween candy mix (syrup, corn and pumpkins)
taffy/nougat-made with cream and honey
popcorn balls (popcorn and caramel/toffee)
Thanks!!
