Rush To TH9?

Second account, 2 months old, rushed to TH9 and 3 staring TH8 with no problem. Another month will be able to 3 stars TH9 no problem. (with 3 builder, no gem and didn't play much)

Don't know how long it takes to build a max TH8 but no matter how much effort ppl put on maxing their TH, a rusher with around 2 months old account could wipe a TH8 with no problem.

By the way, more defense buildings is lot more powerful than few max defenses building.

Both account in Rushed One... Misaki (9month old) & Virtuel (2months old)

Maybe ♥♥ to you because you are not a rusher and don't know the beauty of rushing TH. :)

It's not hope...TH8 is an easy 3 stars with loonion.

I guess you could rush to TH8, but NOT TO TH9! TH6 is different from TH9 on so many different levels, don't try it.

listen to hulkified and look at the two threads i posted earlier... hulk, nubcakeboxer and sharonsym know ♥♥♥ they're talking about, most of the others don't. it all depends on your play style and time; if you're active and good at farming you'll have heaps more fun rushing.

You don't have to be that active. As long as you know how to farm and don't break your shield all the time with loads of loot. At TH9 max you can lose from storages is 350k and even if you lose that twice a day you lose 700k of each. Your collectors produce 472k or something like that a day so your net loss is only less than 300k. As long as you do more than 2 raids a day you will gain resources even with 0 defense in the worse case scenario. This won't happen has you have to be stupid to sit around with that much loot every single time you log off so your collectors will basically recover whatever you lose.

You're pretty far from 0 defense so you will get some TH snips and people will fail to get all 4 storages from time to time too. My mini has all level 1 defenses and not all are built at TH8 and doing just fine playing 2hrs a day. Upgrading to TH9 tomorrow.

i am also a semi rusher. but rushing from three levels is really wrong.. i rush th6. and stay for a month in th7 and two months in th8..

rushing has a lot of disadvantages especially on the last two town hall.
loot penalty is really huge. i cant attack abandoned th7. so please only rush to th8.
my most favorite th level is 8. you try to stay there at least two months and recover what you have rush in th7.
also if you are warring. never rush your th. you will be a liability on clans offense and defense.

remember that clash of clans is a marathon and not a sprint.

if you need to rush, rush intelligently. focus on army camp/barracks, storages, walls and splash defense and air defense

It is your game so you can play it however you feel would be most fun.

As I see it.

Pro:
New unlocks and a totally different experience than grinding.

Con:
Being extremely under-powered for your level. Loot penalty. Other than riding shields, hard to protect your resources.

Personally I have the most fun as a near max townhall. Because you can successfully attack above you, while getting good loot. Right now I'm still enjoying the th 8 grind, before I head to 9.

Don't rush, no reason to. Stay and farm with the increased loot.
