Rush To TH9?

I would be gemming my townhall as I have worked it out that it would cost me just under 2500gems which is equal to £13.99!

EDIT: Also state if I could make exceptions e.g. maxing splash defences before rushing or maxing walls.

The answer depends on yourself, if you know how to rush go for it if not you'll be in trouble.

I am a rusher so my answer is YES. Take a look a my 2 months old account (no gem) in clan "Rushed One" IGN: Virtuel.

Soo what's the point of rushing? If you are way into wars I can see rushing to Th7 for drags, but from there I don't see the point. The game only goes to a certain level (well they do slowly add levels through updates) and there really isn't any point to rush it at all. Especially if you can understand why, as a lot of these guys have mentioned.

Going to 9 is a great advancement from 7-8, but only if you can afford it and have the patience for the upgrades. If you are keen on rushing I don't see you being patient for upgrades necessary to make an intimidating Th9.

When I say afford it I mean the 3mil,4mil,5mil elixer for each drill to get to 6. 4 army camps that cost 9mil to get to 7. Dk. Barracks upgrades aren't cheap either. Max troop upgrades that cost 4.5-6 mil. Also if you are a warring clasher, did you spend enough time upgrading war troops to make your Th9 at least viable in it's offense for being able to sac an equal opponent? Full Drag attk falls off after Th8 so you need a greater variety of troops upgrades, more notably DE troop upgrades, which aren't cheap. 60k for Golem to lvl2, 75k for Witch lvl2. Minions 10k-40k..

Those are just the elixer upgrades. 5+mil to get my wizard towers to lvl7, 3 mil for an xbow that can't hold back lvl6 giant raiders, 5 then 7 mil to get to lvl 2-3. All the while having to make up ground on your vastly under-leveled cannons, mortars, air defenses, archers towers and traps. Traps are very useful and there upgrade costs are substantial at Th9. 1.5 mil for each bomb, 2 mil for each of the 4 black air bombs, etc..

That's just my thought comparison for considering the action of rushing a TH. A good buddy taught me the strength of a max'd base and that there is no reason to rush though the game unless you're looking to be done with it more quickly. :D GLHF!

If what I talk about strikes a cord with you then I would suggest watching little hulk series while ive learnt a lot since episode 1 the overall opinion has stayed the same.

if you are active you will max out at th9 faster if you rush to th9 then any of the maxer sheeple.

Well good for you then! I believe in maxing every town hall, but that's just me. On my first account I rushed to th7, maxed th7, th8, and am no on th9. On my second account I have maxed every town hall, and it has gone much smoother for me! But that may also be due to having experience this time through :)

You think it is original and unique to rush? It's unique to rush and not quit is more accurate. But if it's what you want to do with your time, good luck! The loot penalty youll have on bases that your th6 troops can handle will be ouchie so focus on getting your max giants and archers as soon as you can.

Your mistaking premature upgrading with rushers.

premies dont know ♥♥♥ they are doing.

rushers max barch and then upgrade ergo they are the same offensive capability as a max th8 upon entrance to th9.

I did the opposite :)
The first account, i rushed from TH1 to 9, waited 2 months then rush to TH10, 9 month account and i spent too much time upgrading useless troops... and now, it is very strong.

Second account, 2 months old, rushed to TH9 and 3 staring TH8 with no problem. Another month will be able to 3 stars TH9 no problem. (with 3 builder, no gem and didn't play much)

Don't know how long it takes to build a max TH8 but no matter how much effort ppl put on maxing their TH, a rusher with around 2 months old account could wipe a TH8 with no problem.

By the way, more defense buildings is lot more powerful than few max defenses building.

Technically not true, build time and research time remains the same. As long as a maxer doesn't sit on idle builders to do walls then the time is the same.

The difference is how much you want to do out of order
