Giants and hogs defend themselves
With each upgrade, supercell seem to be stacking the odds more and more against those players who attack others, rather than farm (presumably because they think farming players spend more on gems!)
The latest update is skeleton traps, which allow skeletons to follow your giants about and continually drain their health during an attack. The giants, or hogs are defenceless against them. They are impossible to lure out and deal with prior to launching the attack, in the way that clan castle troops are, so they are, in effect, indestructible clan troops.
A similar problem arose after the previous update. Barb kings and queens were no longer able to be lured, so providing they were buried deep within the base, where they can't be killed by other units, they follow the giants and hogs around and constantly drain their health. Again, the attacking units cannot defend themselves.
Can we have a level playing field please, and allow the giants and hogs to defend themselves. Attacking players do actually buy gems too, and all this bias against attackers is ruining what was once a great game. Without being able to effectively attack, C of C just becomes a glorified Farm Story.
