Yup, just did it too cause I was maxed out (TH9). Thankfully I only had to gem 8 hours.

Get another builder and put him to work!

If your base has more purple/pink than black at TH9, your base is officially premature.....

It isn't wrong or right, but with the loot penalties for attacking lower TH, it would have been easier to upgrade your defenses a bit more before moving up. You kinda shot yourself in the foot, but we're all guilty of being impatient sometimes.

I was well aware of that loot penalty. I'm quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when I see TH7 with 150k loot knowing that it would have been doubled had I stayed TH8. Nevertheless I'm the attacking kind of guy, so I was looking forward to getting LV6 units. And since I'm using a healer, Lv6 archers were necessary to get camps with Lv5 mortars.
Some of you love to max out defenses and walls before moving up. I respect that.
But I'm just having soooooo much fun using my Archer Queen. :)
