OP, you just need to understand that Infernos are not meant to be beatable by mid level players. They are the ultimate defence, so they need to reflect that.
I beat them just fine, if I use a strong enough army & spells. Just how it should be.

Inferno towers ---- If on Multi mode, send in the tanks, if on Single mode, swamp em ... simples... a trained chimp could do it, so stop whining....
You know what they say...if you can't beat them, join them...then learn how they work and try beating them again
That's how I coped with xbows back in th8 I thought they were really over powered...now I just laugh as I bomb them with maxed balloons
Lol. This guy is probably th8-9. You should not be able to wreck a th10 anyways dude. Use gowiwi or gowipe when you get stronger troops.
Obviously, it's too late for infernos, but that is an interesting idea for future items. Perhaps the TH11 defensive centerpiece should have a trophy prerequisite, in order to unlock it. That would be a unique item, that can't be bought, no matter how many gems you have. It would separate the skilled from the unskilled, and it would incentivize people to push, which is something that is seriously needed in this game. You should start a thread in the suggestions subforum.
Because I haven't yet finished upgrading my TH9 base. I'm not a rusher.
You still haven't answered my question. Why do dislike (or fear) the idea of TH9 being given the freeze spell?
I'd be happy to see TH8 given Jump spells and TH7 given Rage spells. Adding one new spell type to any TH level won't have that much impact, but it would address the problem of "infernos are OP if the attackers doesn't have freeze spells".
