As a maxed defense th9 with lvl 18/20 heroes, 160 Legos 90 lavas, I get counted as a townhall 10 in wars. One of my coleaders is directly behind me in walls and a hero level ahead of me, so he counts as a th 10 as well.
Because of this, we face a MINIMUM a of 2 less townhall 10s on our side per war. So because we max our bases, we have to attack TH10s once each per war. 2* raids are pretty damn easy tbh, just focus on the infernos/townhall then play the % game for the second star. My only issue is the fact that we are maxing out so that we have the upper hand come townhall10, but we are at a severe disadvantage in the meantime.
Now, I am not in the nerf infernos group, but I do think something should be done with either CW matchmaking to weigh infernos more heavily OR once a th9 reaches a certain point (max def, 35 hero levels, and all lvl9 walls) , they can unlock the freeze spell up to lvl3 (at increased research cost) WITHOUT adding a 5th spell slot. This spell can only be used in wars. Once you reach a certain point as a th9, you count as a th10 and are at a pretty big disadvantage both offensively and defensively.
This would add a little boost to th9 attacking ability, even out the ♥♥♥♥ poor matchmaking, and still leave an advantage to having townhall 10. Right now, rushing to th10 is the way to go in the short term, but building the strongest base possible helps in the long term. This would be a really good way to bridge that gap a bit for wars.
When they remove the disco and restrict on heal, and when YOU get to TH 10, you will complain about hogs all day long trust me. People are never happy. Just learn and adapt.
Infernos don't need nerfing any more, they aren't that strong at higher trophy levels and nerfing them further to balance out Gold/Crystal leagues will make it even harder to defend a base further on.
As it is any base can be one starred now and nerfing infernos again would make 2 stars a definite too. Where's the challenge after that?
The trouble is they can be bought so early on and make easy bases look tougher than they are. No TH10 should have trouble dealing with them. Level 1 infernos aren't that bad, more like scarecrows. If your troops aren't strong enough you need to live with it until they are. Ultimately it comes down to practice, trial and error and watching a few youtube videos.
Personally I would have made the Masters league achievement a prerequisite to unlock infernos as if you haven't been there then the chances are you haven't needed them, and they can be unbalancing in gold/crystal, where you're most likely to face TH7-9's.
If I come acroos a TH10 with enough loot to make it worth my while --- I just hope I've got enough rage spells with me and off we go .... Don't always win - but I'm up to 97 inferno towers so far ......
In clan wars you have no excuse - plenty time to scout, check which mode etc, and then full on attack - a TH9 should be able to 2 star a newish 10 with lower level inferno's ....
I don't go near the damm things when trophy jhunting though lol :)
please leave em alone.... They will be first on my list when I get uo there to TH10 ... :o
All im going to say is look up Savage seven clan. They might not be pushing at the moment but look at their trophy records. All TH 7 clan whose members make it to champion league usually around 34-3500 range. Now you tell me how are they getting up there? Oh they must be only attacking TH 6s, or they know how to raid bases.
Even if they gem the fact that they can get that high in trophies tells me that they know how to raid and what bases to attack with the troop set up they have; while you, well you cry about not being able to beat one TH level above yours. When these TH7 are beating 3 TH levels above them.
In conclusion, LEARN HOW TO RAID AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT YOU LITTLE BRAT! TH 10 is not hard to beat I have 9s that do it all the time.
"Officially", no, they don't. But PLEASE don't tell me you believe everything Supercell tells us. Infernos insta-melt Hogs and that is a fact. A person could prove it by sending in a mass of Hogs against an Inferno and doing the math with a stopwatch, but I assure you it only takes a shred of autism to see that the numbers are gamed in all sorts of ways. You... Seriously... Believe everything Supercell tells you, hey?
