Lightning rod on DE storage

I really think it is bogus that people can lightning your dark elixer. Perhaps a little lightning rod at higher levels to lower the loss associated with lightning.

P.s. Please don't jump down my throat if this has already been mentioned. It is a good idea though.

One thing I'm curious about. What made you think of a lightning rod and not simply have storages simply take less damage from lightning spells? (sort of like how instead of goblins doing 2x dmg on resources, lightnings do 0.5x)

I suppose this is the more simple solution. I just think the top is kinda boring anyway and it could be a visual modification. So a reason to get higher level storages.

Sorry for the English. I think you're right about the 0.5x for lightning. That would be a more simple solution. But the top of the DE storage seems pretty plan so it would be cool if we could upgrade to a more interesting and benificial storage. Supercell would make some money because everyone would want the new storage. It is a win-win.

This idea has been suggested before. Cool idea but I doubt it will ever make it to the table.

Of course its been suggested before, people hate being zapped. Doesnt mean SC will ever do anything about it. One of the Mods even said that they have no intention of mitigating zapping whatsoever...

It's been mentioned tons of times :rolleyes:

TBH, I don't see why zapping's such a big deal. Unless you're sitting with a hybrid base in a low league, you rarely get zapped, almost never more than once.

Nothing should be done to stop lightning spells from zapping anything. If anyone can zap storage's, it's called fair.

i made a thread about this yesterday and thres too many noobs on the forums to understand this is a problem. everyone on here just told me to stop complaining its part of the game to deal with it.

Specially with the 1 gem boost on spell factory this just happens 10 times as much, supercell did a update on it once and decrease how much it can be stolen , but its still pretty stupid if you ask me!

I got zapping sometimes but i think go to higher throphy is good to evade zapping but there much de hunter that can level your base at higher thropy so make sure your de is always low (use it when u can use)
