3 Star of Note -- 105 Dragoon "99 Variant"
Here is an attack previously posted on a distinct thread but consolidating here for archive purposes.
- Why Notable? This might evolve into a Dragoon style of its own. At this time we'll call it a variant of the 105. Seems to be viable option if the 105 broadside target is hard to path to (buried more than 2 hops; tons of high health blocks before it; etc)
- Attacker: Rokthar TH8+ (max level)
- Defender: TH8~ (mid level)
- Attack Style: 105 Dragoon "99" (99 refers to swapping 1 Dragon for 4 loons)
- War Date:1/30/2015
- Spells: Rage, Rage, Heal
- Mix (CC): 9 Dragons, 4 Balloons (5 Max Loons in CC)

3 Star of Note -- 105 Dragoon "Moat"
Here is an attack previously posted on a distinct thread but consolidating here for archive purposes.
- Why Notable? This attack shows how the 105 can be used to clear those base layouts w/ moats (an open channel around mid; a channel of non-target-able defense buildings might fit as well).
- Attacker: Akash TH8+ (max atkng level)
- Defender: TH8+ (max level)
- Attack Style: 105 Dragoon "Moat" ("Moat" suffix to imply the building gap around the core)
- War Date: 01/16/2015
- Spells: 2 Heal, 1 Rage
- Mix (CC): 10 Dragons (5 Max Loons)

True 813 is the simplest Dragoon

You realize well run clans mandate double big bombs buried and pathed in all bases (anti-hog). So not sure if that is a go to strat if you want to run w/ the really good clans -- but it will work for most.

A zen master once said -- "Focus on the right, and the wrong will be forgotten". O.k. I made that up. Point is the tactic and replays are intentionally showing you how to do it right. We used to analyze fails (look up hero and goat on our channel). We might go back to that (war recap looking at 3 good and 3 bad attacks). We'll see. Either way, the best answer for how to attack a base is to use the strategy the base is weak against. Thats how we do it in JTJ. We have a decision tree that you go through for a given base (like 20 questions) that leads you to the best attack style (based on base attributes -- ie. dense, moated, AD position, etc.).
