Careful what you wish for

I see people here wanting deals on gems or prices of upgrades reduced and I think you need to remember the key to enjoying Clash.
The fun is in the getting there not the being there. I cant imagine how unsatisfying sitting with a maxed base must be. I have gemmed a little for troop updates but taking the new archer towers and hounds as an example - how much fun was had by simply clicking upgrade and the gem button a few times to get what should have taken months of raiding and warring?

Totally agree with your sentiment.

Its a Marathon, not a sprint and all that.

Every time i see the 'Max level' thing in the lab, it makes me a little sad as its one step closer to the end of the game.

But is maxxing your base 'winning'? Surely improving the base is the 'playing'? Raids and wars are the winning?
