Check out my base. I Was very similar to you in terms of walls. I was close to maxing out my walls and decided to up to 9. The only time I lose gold is when someone lightning spells me.

Hannibal changed the outmost boxes into long strips

I changed the strips to "L" shapes

Hannibal swapped some boxes around

Thus, giving us the most up to date version of the base (check your facts better TNT ;))

I remember your previous design you're speaking of. The outside strips were sort of angled so the design looked similar to a tornado.

Yeah my "L"s were slightly staggered, I changed to another base while my xbows upgrade, but plan to go back to the old one

That's the thing with a great base design. They are usually a combination of the tried and tested elements taken from previous designs and moulded into something else. If you think you invented cross segments TNT you are mistaken. I have made my own base designs that were copied by others in the past, but I also love trying other people's designs also. The game gets stale if you keep your base design the same for too long, for me anyway.

Thats very true. No ones layout is unique or genuine. All are "reincarnations" or modifications of existing layouts ( making a cross layout isn't that difficult, those who have genuine n effective layouts shall not be found here in the forums).
