Gowiwi and gowipe in clan wars.

just why? almost all of the th 9's in war have exploitable bases that can be 3 starred with a custom army, yet it seems like all people know how to do is use go armies to get sure 2 stars.

Im not saying gowipe and gowiwi arent able to 3 star its just thats its more of a luck thing and not consistent, compared to scouting a base, seeing if the outer ring isnt in the air defense range, counting the balloons needed, and you can 3 star it with holowiwi with ease, or the base is super compact with almost no gaps and you can strait hog and get another easy 3 star, and you can get 6 stars every war with just a little planning.

I know that there are bases that cant be 3 starred and thats when those strategies come in handy to get that garentee two star. Its just it amazes me that people gowipe/gowiwi two star a base when they could have walked away completely destroying it in under 2 minutes.

Not noticing this trend as much in my wars. The bases that can be exploited are usually exploited, but these are few and far berween and only if the attacker is comfortable with the custom army.
Why risk 0 stars with a custom army when gowipe would ensure 2 and maybe give 3?

Its what people feel most comfortable with. They have probably been seen the strategy or been taught it in their clan and copied.

I think that most people in my clan were more ... Experimental at one point. But experimental doesn't always pay off.

I have seen some great unusual strategies pull off 3 stars.

If you are not 3-starring TH9s with Gowipe, you are doing it wrong.

Funny thread. I never see bases that can be holowiwi'd. Ever. My whole clan has been looking. The bases are super uncommon.

And bases that you can hog? What a joke good luck getting 3 stars with hogs on 90% of bases. DGB that cannot be triggered are gg for hogs.

Hulk's strategies can be applied to nearly all bases. You just gotta know what to look for :). You can't copy other people's succesful army compositions and always expect to be succesful. You gotta learn to use the techniques to make your own strategies.

Agreed. Too many people just drop strong troops on the battlefield and pray for 3 stars. Not gonna happen.

I get 6 stars against th9 every war, unless I hit a top TH10 for 2 stars instead. Exactly right in that wipe and wiwi are not great for 3 starring just any old th9, especially those with L8+ walls. That said, I will do gowiwipe on certain th9 layouts and its easy 3 stars.

My go to attacks are holowiwi, hogs, gowiwipe. I've just heard about hogowiwi and it looks interesting. Seems like a powerfull attack against some base layouts

Hero levels don't really matter on defense against gowipe army. It's the defensive buildings, walls and now the skeleton traps which is soooooo annoying if placed properly. :mad:
