I just got to TH8 and I'd need some help regarding army comp and trophy range. I'd personally stick with barch, but I don't know if it is the best for TH8 farming. Mainly at the start, with lvl 4 troops, but also help for later would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
If u have lvl 6 camps, i use 88 barbs, 88 arch, 12 wb, 2 lightning.

I tend to use GiBarch. I use 4 giants 8 wbs and 82 barbs and 82 archers. This army comp really tends to work well for collector bases and some storage bases. I have found the loot to be in Silver 1 - Gold 2. You can get some nice 500k raids every 20 or so nexts. Happy clashing!

1 barrack barb 2 archers and 1 half of each. 3 ligthing spell. You dont need anything else. Farm between Silver 1 and gold2 and when DE is need push to crystal because its raining DE there..
I am currently in silver 1 because I have noticed an increase of th9 in gold 3 so I dropped in order to protect resources. The three leagues to farm should be silver, gold 3, and gold 2. Only push to gold 1 if you need dark elixir. After the update crystal 3 is a huge jump from gold 1 in loot bonus, only push to crystal 3 if you have maxed out defenses. This will give you better chance to survive.
As for troops,
Barch: fill three camps wih archers and one with barbs, usually gives me 140 archers and 60 barbs.
Bam: 60 barbs, 80 archers, 30 minions
Bam G: 44 barbs, 80 archers, 26 minions, 24 goblins
Bam W: 44 barbs, 80 archers, 30 minions 8 wallbreakers
Chief pats lazy farming: 104 goblins, 50 archers, 6 giants, 8 wallbreakers
Sorry for long message, PS for all farming armies I use one of each spell.
I use 14 giants , 6 wallbreakers , and the rest archers (i can hold 200 troops in my camps) and i almost always 3 star. Im lvl 73, th8, in crystal 3, still farming
Around 1550 trophies is great for TH8.
Or try crystal III for DE loot.
Do you still have lvl4 Archers and Barbs? Make sure you up them to level 5. I use 100 archers / 100 barbs around the 1500 cup range and get 100k/100k loots regularly with the odd 200k/200k plus.
