What if i told you SuperCell DID listened to you and you are the one to blame?

Hi Forumer...

First of.. it is not a flame thread.. only usual and a way to talk about general stuff without the trouble to yell on everyone.

But with all the rant I see on the forum (i'm on forum since january) i've see a lot... and all that times... those last updates (since heroes buff [yeah, you hear me "buff"]) they just did what have been asked for a long times...

people were asking (those i read from higher player) better defense in champion (and also fixing the cloud issue [wich i don't know about yet]) and saying that offense was overpower... getting 2star was the bread and butter of all day.. defense could just not stand a chance anywhere in champion, leading to stay on for block of 6hrs grinding for 1cup per attack with strong army

in higher league.. elixir was useless since they were swimming in it... been asked for elix in walls..

you asked for better league bonus... better war bonus...

And guess what... that is exactly what they did... buffing heroes so they don't go Frenzy all in a corner of the base... pumping heroes hp but nerfing dmg to avoid OP... adding new defense and lvl to others... new traps... new mortar...
option to spend elix in walls.

It is plenty the results of what have been asking by forumer... and now everyone rant

now if everyone could just stop for a moment... enjoy the game.. adapt... everything will come back to normal in a certain time... yes it can takes several months... but please just stop bashing on the developpers because obviously.. all they do is just listening to you guys and trying to make the best experience in game ever...

So, thank you SC for that wonderfull game...


ps. yes i struggle with the loot... but that is not the question. overall i enjoy pretty much the rest.

I agree with your comments. But what SC has to do is realize that the forum is a % of the users and may not reflect the total views of most users. Honestly they have to take these posts with a grain of salt and make the game "better" base on the data they have available and just note on what people are saying.

I love this game. I think it is very well balanced and takes some skill to be good. There are a number of things to be good at in this game. There is Clan Wars, farming, and trophy pushing. Each takes its own strategy and tactics.

I have not been playing all that long but I do think that SC is listening and making some good decisions to help make the game better, though it may end up being harder to find 3M loot in a day. But that just adds to the game and making it an accomplishment to making it to a high TH. If it was too easy the game would not last.

Keep it up SC, you are doing a fine job, and this last update was nice. Even though I am TH7 so it did not effect me all that much yet. But I like how you thought about and implemented the update.

While I agree with some of your comments, and agree with some of the upgrades, I do think they overstretched on the elixir for walls. Should have been only higher level walls that could use lix. Also, I think the fundamental issue is that they have done nothing significant to increase loot generation since TH8 was the top level. So with all the upgrades and new things since then, and their higher price tags, there is no upgrade in loot production to help pay for it. Now we're just running dry..

I just don't see how people link this with greed. It's quite obvious that the money they make aren't from people dropping $1ks gemming their base (they do this irrespective of loot) but casual spenders that just boost. If the loot is bad, nobody will boost and they lose a good chunk of money so deliberately keeping the loot bad isn't a greedy move, or am I mistaken somehow?

For one, it's because everyone are not on the same ground when telling their grievance, nor each has exactly the same grievance all time since that surely based on his/her position in the game. For example, for a farmer who stays way lower league than he actually have too and already maxed elixir upgrades, nothing to spend elixir is a problem. On the other hand, for someone who just upgraded town hall or push, not having elixir is a problem.

Meanwhile, an update, especially when it targets multiple town halls with all-encompassing feature (like elixir for walls), changes the game indiscriminately, regardless of players' condition. Just like when you want to shoot a mouse but using a 12 buck shot. You got the shot ok, but anything else in the direction your gun barrel facing might get damaged too, regardless if you actually want that to happen or not. This is where all the complainings come. The ones who complain are not the ones who want change, but affected by it none the less.

100% agree with you on every point. Although I was a bit sceptical of non-luring heroes at the start and making them weaker, I now see it was the right thing to do. I still think they need to increase loot a bit as i'm just league bonus farming at the moment attacking anyone with collectors filled even a little to get 150k of each and as much dark as possible.

You see that's exactly where you're wrong. They do make a killing off of the top players who dish out thousands. There goes your whole argument.

I agree.. I for one also consider the Hero change a "Buff".. in fact it was that change that made me return to the game after 6 months of inactivity.

My problem is not that there is NO loot, cause I am TH10 and when in Gold1 I have been making adequate progress. Yes there are bad days and when they are bad I accept it.. I move on to something else instead of aimlessly pressing next. When I return the next day, if it is as bad I will not bother raiding.

However, I am lucky, or unlucky depends on your perspective, as I am a very advanced farmer.

For me the Match Making in WAR needs to be looked at in addition to the DE reward. But other than that its really good... Could be fantastic if they push the war theme further.

It is not that SC do not listen. The problem is the time it takes them to react to a problem... many times as the consumer we have had to adapt to the situation so by the time they deliver (or start to look at focusing on resolving it) the problem has "died down"...

I am currently making my way up through the leagues to see if the Bonus can sustain my progress, if not I will without a second thought drop down and farm in Gold 1 again..
