New defense building [Air]
Hello guys,
I am Jan, a th8 clasher and I have had this idea for a while.
To start of, check the troop info of the Barbarian and the Archer.
The barbarians troop info states that it can only attack ground units. These means that any flying troop would go unrecognized by the barbarian. And for that matter, any troop that targets only ground troops. At this stage it just means a dragon or healer or minion or balloon would go unnoticed by the barbarians. These troops can only be spawned via Clan castle.
The archer on the other hand is able to attack these troops because it can attack flying units. These means that the balloon or minion would be vulnerable to this troop.
Troops that cannot attack the air units (excluding healers):
Barbarians, Goblins, Wall breakers, Giants, Balloons, P.E.K.K.As, Hog riders, Valkyries, Golems
Troops that can attack air troops:
Archers, Wizards, Dragons, Minions, Witches
As you can see, More troops cannot attack these air troops that those that can.
My idea was a new defensive building called the Flying terminator. Please give me better names.
The idea was that it would be a big air mine where an archer, maybe two, sit inside and are able to shoot at troops. Its favorite target would be flying troops, this is to give troops that can attack it from below a chance to do so without being targeted.
The basic stats are below. (please note they can be edited):
Level 1: 300,000 to buy, Health 800, Damage 60, Firing rate 1 shot per second, Range 6 tiles, Damage type : Single troop
Level 2: 700,000 to upgrade, Health 1250, Damage 70, Firing rate same time, Range 6 tiles.
Level 3: 1,500,000 to upgrade, Health 1820, Damage 90, Firing rate 2 shots per second, Range 7 tiles.
Level 4 : 3,000,000 to upgrade, Health 2400, Damage 120, Firing rate Same as level 3, Range 7 tiles, Damage type : Splash damage
Level 5 : 230,000 to upgrade, Health 2800, Damage 190, Firing rate same, Range same, Damage type same
The tower can be bought at TH7 As that is when you get the drags and minions. The tower can be upgrade in this order:
TH8->Th8->Th9->TH10
Another fact, When a jump spell is place beneath the tower, the barbs and P.E.K.K.As and giants can reach it as the is a platform where the archers stand on. The lightning spell still affects it and so do all the other spells. When troops are on the platform and they are raged they still do as the spell indicates the heal spell works on the platform too.
The Troops that can attack from the ground will not require to jump up in order to attack it. but they have to stand one tile closer than usual. The troops will be able to jump down as the balloon is destroyed and the platform falls down.
