I remember seeing plenty mentions in game about a loot penalty for being higher TH. Sorry I just think it's kind of ridiculous you managed to get that far without ever paying any mind to the games tips.

You can dig your way out but it won't be very easy. You need to upgrade your attack abilities and for that you need elixer. Upgrade your collectors round the clock. Use the elixer to upgrade troops. In particular just upgrade barbarians and archers for now. You can use these to farm and if you can farm then you can dig your way out.
And it sure sounds like this player needed you to point that out, if you can't say something nice,,,,,,,,,Quote:

Before u restore create a new apple id this is a game centre account then restore and do your i cloud back up then go to settings and log out of game centre settings-game centre and log into the new one u made, redownload clash and you should have a new account
i did the same thing up to th 6 then had to dig my way out. Just don't worry about trophies and use just barbs and archers u can dig it way back out and get ur troops and defenses share they are supposed to be - GOOD LUCK!!!
There are two possible reasons why you cannot remove the data from the game, and here's how to solve the problem:
1. You have your game center logged in. Delete the game, and there will be a notice that pops up that says "Do you want to remove this from your game center account?" Press yes, and re-download the game to start fresh!
2. You have iCloud on. You have to delete the data of the game from iCloud and delete the game itself, then re-download the game. And there it is! A new TH 1!
