i feel your pain! But then thought about making my own clan with some of my buds. We started today and hopes it goes well. It's gonna be difficult because we are looking for older clanners, but it Will be worth it! Stay positive and do what will make you enjoy the experience of playing the game.
What you need is a war clan. Clan war is what killing your clan, and this should be taken out of equation quickly. The idea here is to make an off-shot clan from your original one, dedicated to clan war. And anyone from your clan who wants to participate clan war join this clan whenever they feel like they want to do war. Recruiting is done still on the base of the original clan (war clan is non-recruiting), so you can determine yourself who might be good for war clan and who doesn't.
Clan war itself has been many months now. If you value your clan members other than as clan war materials, you'd want to shove aside clan war. For surely, after this many months, there is no way player can change anymore. Those who suck at clan war will no longer improve, and those bad at raiding will continue to be so. Just make clan war unavailable for them.
For your clan ad, you can mention your clan does have a war clan, which has that impressive war stats for any prospective players worthy of joining it.
Board thats an excellent suggestion, but who do you get to lead the non war clan?
Do you constantly change members as leader as they go to warclan or what?
Its very hard to keep a cohesive group, across ages, continents, requirements, backgrounds..
One bad war and the casual members leave...
Kick the bad donators and attackers suddenly you have such a small clan and no one wants to join...
We have been there, come through it, been there again lol!

A familiar story. We went adult only about a year ago and it's the best decision we ever made. Most of our clan have now been together for months and have not once even considered taking an under 18 since.Quote:

But what we do have now is pretty stable members. We all donate frequently, help out each other frequently.

I am the leader of District 1 clan. We were 45 before and winning the wars but then we lost some and the good players got annoyed and started leaving blaming others for imaturity and not attacking in wars. As a result we got rid of all nonactive and those that didnt donate or did not attack in wars. Now we are only 17 (loyal) members helping each other to grow. It is easy to manage the clan we decide when we want war and when we want to farm, no hoppers too . However i think we need some new members and if u are not crazy about wars and want some relaxing time u could help me put some live into my clan. Hope u decide to join:)
2nd person that joined a clan and I've been there for a while, been active, donated and received. Promoted to co-leader, and I spent hours a day filtering through global to recruit. My clan never really appreciated anything,... so I left..:rolleyes:
As others have said, do what you think best. I had a similar situation at the start of the year with a clan i'd been in for over a year. In the end I made the decision to leave and discussed it thoroughly with the leader who I regard as a friend - personally, I'm not a fan of leaving without a word. Anyway, I'm in a fantastic clan now and was joined by my old leader a few months ago!
Everything has a habit of working out in the end.
