Base clan customisation

Hi guys. One thing I've always wanted is a little more customisation for your base, especially along clan colours. That way you can feel more of a group and also get some nice cosmetic changes without affecting gameplay. Obviously you'd want to keep it subtle, but I feel there are plenty of areas on the current buildings and even things like spells that could be customised.

I was thinking it could put your clan crest on certain building parts, or in cases like the Builder's Hut or Lightning Spell, it could use the primary colour of your clan crest colour.

So here is a level 10 Archery Tower. I basically just changed the flag from the standard green to the clan crest. It's only a small change but its a nice feature.

Town Hall 9 has an upgraded flag and also a floor carpet that can be coloured:

You could have a customised Clan Flag and even things like the flaming torches:

You could have slightly coloured Builder's Huts. I wasn't that happy with this one as it's a bit rushed, but if it was made to look like painted wood it would be cool.

Here's where it could get a bit too far, because obviously gameplay has to take a precedent. However, small changes like the anti-air defense fireworks having a colour change would probably be ok:

You could even change the spell colours. There's no worry about it affecting gameplay because you only use the spell yourself and you know what it is. The blue lightning spell could be colour-coded for your clan. As my clan is blue already, imagine an orange lightning spell.

Finally, here's a quick mockup of my base with these small changes. Note it really doesn't change the base much, you could push it a lot further. But I think with cosmetic, subtle is the key.

Nice work, man, but Archers Towers are soooo flashy:cool:;)

I don't know about the air defense and spells, but the archer towers are on point!

It looks good but probably won't happen because supercell would have to do a lot of work for it + they would have to do it for every crest design.

Your idea is great. Maybe the players could customize their base by themselves (but with the colours of the clan only, of course).
