Are inactive bases gone?

Sorry, new to the clash side of the forums but with the silly tweaks at Boom Beach, ive been playing more of clash... been on about a year now and just about a month ago realized that nexting until hitting an abandoned collector base was the only way to get loot. Was happy that I finally found a way to get loot, but now it seems that is gone? could someone clarify if this halloween update caused the inactive bases to disappear?

If it did, how are you looting, Im only seeing bases with around 100k gold that u have to go full bore on when a few weeks ago i was seeing 300k with around 50 nexts... actually found one guy that had over 500k one time just in gold, but couldnt barch my way into all of it.

Collector bases have been the only thing I can hit for a very long time to reign in my frustration at never having enough money to start an upgrade.

Im th9 typically hover between 14-1700 range because any more or less and i dont seem to find much to loot or i get completely crushed when i go offline... level 6 archers and barbs are gonna be 6 in 2 more days, but have been th9 for about 4 months and still havent had the loot to upgrade giants to 6

They are definitely not gone. I think most can be found in Silver I, but don't take my word for it. You don't have to attack only abandoned bases. You could try some other strategies to get to the storages in someone's base if you really can't find any. :D

My suggestion would be to learn to raid storages with barch if that is your preferred army. YouTube or the forums are likely sources of good information in this.

Are there less inactive villages? Likely, when there is higher activity the ratios can be thrown off as the Inactives are regularly shielded or their collectors are overly farmed until they become unprofitable. The good news is league bonuses have been increased so if you move up the league system you can attack with less searching.

There are two elements to this issue regarding collector raids:

1. There are more and more people ch eating, finding those collector bases faster than humanaly possible.
2. Supercell push inactives to the back of the queue faster.

Personally i think #1 is becoming the bigger issue, the longer the loot issue continues.

As to store raids:

due to the above, people are likely gemming more to logout with low store amounts since they know that they can lose more from 1 logout than they reasonably can with 1 login.

They are gone from the find match but they exist in the database. Only recently inactive bases can come up in the find match system. We have 3 people who quit and 2 of those quit when the Heros were nerf'd so we got together recently to ask them the last time they were attacked. My son I seen personally he wasn't attacked except a few times after he quit. So it's a play on words they use. If the player logs in their base is still there but they don't come up in find match after a few weeks. This is a measure to control how much loot is in the game and it may be governed by how many people quit at once also. It's all governed by how much loot is available in the game.

Pretty much.

Ok, I can and regularly do go on a lot of storage raids, but for the most part any good storage raid i see has high level walls, 3 xbows and 2 infernos which using strictly barch i cant get into. Thats why ive made it my lifes mission to be friends with the next button and not get impatient. I actually wish we could use all the troops in the game and just have fun, but with insane build times and costs vs reward, it just doesnt seem usefull at all to build a fun army.

I had heard some grumblings somewhere that the inactive bases were no longer available and if thats the case i dont really have much reason to play the game anymore. If the max i can reasonably loot is in the 150,000 gold range, it will take me roughly 30-40 attacks to get enough loot for one upgrade whereas before I could do 10-15 high value attacks, and im simply not willing to let this GAME feel more like a Job that I pay to participate in lol.

Just looking for whether or not the bases will still be there or not and so far my next button and my gut tell me that they will be extremely rare versus something you have to have some patience to find :-(
