I'm going to start doing the same thing as AxionXD did and Photoshop them all over my base, just to laugh at everyone who believes it. Jesus, people believe anything.
I guarantee you that after this post, some tool is going to post again saying wow that's amazing, he has 3, and they aren't even going to bother reading the other comments. They are just going to get stuck on the fact they saw 3.

Tonnes of people are going to end up with multiples. I got 7 xmas trees last year (all after xmas funny enough) so I'm sure many people here on forums will end up with 5-10.

The headstones don't seem to be following the rule about not spawning next to other objects and are behaving more like gem boxes that spawn anywhere. So now I am wondering if they will be like gem boxes in that you can only get one at a time too. Time will tell I guess.
Any new info on this? Can u have more than one? What do you get if you remove them? Can we keep them forever like christmas trees?
