Whether through intention of the developers or not I believe a new way of playing clash will become the norm.
1. Resources - I wouldn't expect resources to go back to the way they were, 100k of each will probably be the new 200k of each from now on for atleast th 9 and above. Perhaps this may lead to reduced cost and train time of troops (if it doesn't then expect a smaller community of quite regular players). Also I think even more emphasis will go the way of league bonuses to encourage higher league play.
2. Upgrades - "keeping all builders busy" syndrome will ebb away a bit, you will either feel more appreciative of an upgrade and plug away for it, get frustrated and quit, or reduce your game time quite a lot. Acquiring loot and therefore expensive upgrades will now be accepted as a skill and not just how much you play. Even I cannot deny that barching collectors is easy and repetitive.
3. War - not quite there yet as a profitable option, I think wars will eventually be another method of acquiring loot, but not the easy way, you will have to use strong armies to do it. Again this will probably need reduced cost and train time of troops to make it bearable.
these are just my thoughts im probably completely wrong but what do you think?
