How about changing village name for gems?

Title says it all.

Not sure about this, would cause too much chaos in my opinion...

What chaos would start if this feature was to become real? Many people who begin playing, like myself, were not thinking when we first started the game when it said to give your village a name and now we want to change it. I do not see any problems being able to change your village name.

There's a reason why we can't change our names. Making it cost gems wouldn't make that reason insignificant in any way. :o

I see your point, changing our name won't do anything but simply make the people happy which is what company wants, their people to be happy and the company to make money on top of it. They could allow us to perhaps change our name once for free to come up with a final name or have us pay gems where the company would make money (like 100 - 500 gems, $1 - $5 in US currency).

You think they do not need what? Money? If you were a owner of a company, you would love making money. Over a million people play this game and if they changed their name because of a simple update like this, they will make $1 - $5 million minus taxes and ect. but simply $1 - $5 per name change. Money speaks my friend.

I see how it's been ruled out, basically because it has been asked multiple times but doesn't that mean there is a reason why we continue to ask? Why we continue to argue why we should change our name? Besides the money, your comment is true. It has been ruled out but I must asked and I wish to hear your opinion... Why was it ruled out? If people frequently ask for something so simple like this, why does SuperCell say no when the idea does no harm ingame what so ever? That is my question.

What if u r in a clan and then the leader raises the req to join and u change ur name, u get kicked and banned.
even if u could change ur name they would have to put a cap on it or something like once every 3 months:)
