Push to Master League?

I'm a Th8 level 66
arch lv 5 barb 4
ok so I have been trying to push to master since quiet a few days now. Been stuck at 2300 trophies where i dont find any Th8 or bases with th outside with which I can 1 star.
even if i break shield and get about 15 trophies in about 2 hours, when I log off i am sure to lose about 20 trophies from Th9 attacks
so please advice me how can I go about to master just for the achievement.
Ive heard baloonion is good but the time taken for 2 armies n spells does not justify as when Ill be gone I'll bye under attack?most, to do, appreciate all help. Ty!

The troop composition that I used to get to Master at TH8 were 8 Giants (Level 4), 12 Wall Breakers (Level 4), 8 Hog Riders (Level 4), 10 Minions (Level 2) and the rest split between Barbarians and Archers (Level 5) & Level 4 Rage Spell.

1. Try to find exposed TH for easy trophies with minimal troop usage (2 level 5 archers can take out any level TH). Watch out for hidden teslas. If they pop up, drop the giants and hogs to absorb the attack and barch the TH. I used minions for the exposed TH that had a mortar near by.

2. Search to find TH behind one wall. Again send in the least troops possible to destroy the TH. If all troops are needed the order to drop would be giants, hogs, wall breakers, barbs, archers then rage the barbs and archers to take out TH.

This method was the fastest & cheapest method to get to Masters and collect gems. The reason this worked well is because it's a fast troop build time which allowed me to string attacks back to back without letting someone attack me. The last 100 trophies to reach Masters is brutal.

Only just got to Masters myself, as a TH9...... I took any snipe or semi exposed TH I came across, whilst out looking for those juicy 2 star attcks, but, they were v rare Once you get past mid chrystal 2.....

Need plenty gold for nexting if you have to rely on them ....... :)

As said above - the last 100 or so trophies are brutal -- you got M3 smacking you about for easy trophies, so keep the loot low, to avoid extra temptation to attack you -- consider leaving th out overnight, hope you only get a quick 1 star loss, from somebody sniping, for the league bonus, or cups ---- meaning someone like me - a TH9, trophy hunting can't roll you for the full3 stars....

Balloonion till I hit c1, then went with gowiwi to get the last 100 or so .... snipes were very are after mid c2.....


lvl2 golem, and lvl1 witch with lvl5 whizzies ...

As a TH8, I suppose GOWIPE would do it just watch out for the inferno towers, and only go for bases with both set to multi if using gowipe.. .....

I pushed to master as a TH8 a few months ago. My troop comp starting in high c2 was:

• 10-12 giants
• 8-10 wiz
• Fill the rest with archers and a few wbs

I always had three rage spells. I looked for any base that had TH near the outside. TH sniping is rare once you hit c1. There are a lot of lame tesla traps too. Drop the giants to distract defenses, drop a rage, and drop wiz. Four or five wiz will take out a TH10 when raged in two or three shots.

You'll spend a lot on the next button. Here were some of my stats as I recall:

• Gold spent on next button: 3.2 million
• Elixer spent on troops and spells: over 4 million
• Raids: around 350
• Trophy level reached: 2701

It was grueling, I attacked almost non-stop for almost 2 weeks to get there.

Well first of all, minion, you got great patience man, but what if I'm attacked till my next troops are built. Should I sit with the shield or break it, because if i break shield, get 15 trophies in one attack and then I am attacked while I'm off and loose 20 trophies, I might land in a trophy drop.
Should I keep th outside? It's always outside as of now

In most attacks you won't use all of your troops, just enough to kill the TH. You won't use all the rage spells either. So you can be cooking more troops while your attacks are going on. You need to keep your game active and avoid going offline as much as possible.

Once I hit Crystal 2 I moved the TH outside. The hard part about the push is you need to keep so much elixer and gold available, which makes you a tasty target for all the max TH9's and TH10's up there. Moving the TH outside makes it more likely that another trophy pusher like you will snipe and move on. I found that with the TH inside and a lot of loot laying around I was always attacked by someone who could flatten my base and take 30 trophies.

It's a double edged sword though, because all the bases you snipe on the way up can get revenge on you. If you sniped some TH who's sitting in Gold1 and you've made Crystal2, he'll get 15-20 trophies just for the TH snipe, and occasionally one of those guys will flatten your base and take 50+ trophies. I woke up at least three times to that.

Pushing to master as a TH8 is demanding. I did it before I had golems and pekka. Later I learned how to get two stars with gowipe on almost any base which may have reduced the amount of attacks I needed to get there.

I made it to M1 on a bet with a clan member that I couldn't do it using the following two army comps:

24 Giants
2 Healer
42 Archers
10 Barb
10 Wallys

18 Giants
10 Hogs
2 Healer
30 Archers
10 Barb
6 Wallys

The bet also included I could only use 1 heal and the rest had to be lightning spells, I could not use hero ability and no TH sniping. I am a max th9 (except walls and hero's). I had to start at Silver 1 and make it to Master 1 in 7 days...yes I managed to do it. Having max troops helps, but I did face some challenges with that army comp. What I discovered...you can do it with almost any army, find one you are comfortable with and use the 30 seconds to really think about attack strategy before hitting next. In the end, the experience will make you a stronger attacker and generate more success...especially if you drop back down. It will be like taking candy from a baby after you do it.
