Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm a TH9 crystal 2. My farming has been pretty atrocious for awhile now. A few of my clan mates who are TH8 and gold 2 and silver 3 seem to have more consistent farming than me.
I really only farm with arch or Barch. So I try and find the obvious targets of full mines/pumps.
Am I just having bad luck, or has farming been nerfed for the higher THs/leagues?

hi. The loot is bad and good for everyone, it changes. im farming in c3 as a maxed th 9 right now and id consider it good for me, 200k of each raids ever 40-50 skip pretty much. No, the loot hasnt been nerfed. but just give it a bit and itll be better. btw, im also using barch :) gl
Yeah maybe I'm not being as patient as I used to be. It just seems a lot more hit or miss recently. It used to take less "next" to find a decent 200k+ hit.Quote:

It can be good for DE and the collector bases tend to have more or less maxed out collectors. But it seems to be a gravyard for those TH9 bases that have maxed out and are pushing and grinding walls and heroes. Probably heroes. Plus you have pushers who are loot light to disuade attacks.
There is loot there in TH 10 bases - but good luck training the armies needing to get it all.
My advice is drop trophies til you are in crystal 3 and keep your crystal 2 badge as i think it starts improving there. If so you can drop further if you so wish.
If you are farming you have to be where the loot is at. People know from experience that they are going to be attached and flattened in crystal and tend to stay in gold leagues.
Inactives will accumalate at the point between where they will be attacked and loose trophies or 'win' and go up. Crystal imo is the point where they start dropping downwards. Ie will be shielded for 12 hours as there will in all likelihood still be loot in storages when the bases become inactive.
Crystal 2 may be a little too high if you're farming for gold and elixir with Barch. Try Gold 1 for gold and elixir. With Barch you gotta be patient. Don't be surprised to find yourself nexting over a 100 times lol...
I recently gave up on Barching and have started using BAM as it allows you to get further into the core of the base and makes it easier to get the storages.
