Barch seems fine to me since there is level 7 barbs and archers.

Level 5 BARCH is fine for me all the way up to Crystal 3 (the highest I've tried).

L3 BARCH is awesome :) Nexting is so cheap at TH6.
L6 BARCH is great if its a BAG. Need a wee bit of tank but not much, at TH9.

I assume everything between is likely the same. barch with a bit of G for luck...
