Maybe allow leaders to create titles and assign rights / powers ?
On a on a side note.... That's a big pumpkin.

Not a good idea.
Just put a custom title, without any benefit (like promotion or kick) and the leader can type anything he want until 10 characters...
I like the limit for co-liders, but I think for a 50 member clan, the maximum of co-leaders must be 5.
I think Elders must be limited too... for a 50 member clan, 20 is a good number.
So:
1 Leader
5 Co-Leader
20 Elders
24 Member (With custom ranks)
Maybe so....but the thing that most ppl that start threads dont think about is there are others out there...
he wants 2 co's coz he has kids asking all the time and will leave if he doesnt give it, so instead of saying "no im sorry mate you have to earn it". He wants sc to make it so he doesn't have to be a bad guy.
So instead of him growing so bálls...he wants to ruin it for all the clans out there that have spent the time recruiting loyal, donating and MATURE ppl. Hostile...damn straight lol
and may i add....CO was bought in because ppl complained Leader and Elder wasnt enough, now ppl want more lol when will it stop?
Be happy with what your got, and if you care about a kid leaving your clan unless you give him co....then give him co or say goodbye to him, dont come on here trying to get supercell to give you an excuse to say no and ruin it for good clans out their that have more then 2 co's.
Put some criteria
Like donate atleast 1000 to become elder
This much star fr this clan to be the elder
Something like that
If only few people are made elder or coleader
Others might feel bad that they dont have a status in the clan and they mght feel that they are better than coleader
And also if u demote some1 fr not being better than some other guy definately he'll leave the clan
Setting up a criteria and going according to that is better
Actually, we are an adult clan. cant help it if adults act like children.
as i said, i didnt start the clan but was second member. the leader, at the advice of about 20 members made me leader a few weeks later. Probably because i give over 5000 troops per season. so i took it. at that time, over half the clan was co-leaders. I dont mind the quiet ones who dont cause trouble. its the opinionated ones who stir the pot .
I pruned the clan one time from 50 down to 18 members. i know there are MANY players out there. so now when i recruit, i say if you are worried about status, dont join. dont ask for co/elder. just follow the rules. AND THEN ppl show up, claiming that theyre ok with that, but really theyre not. As i find out later. They want recognition. EVEN ADULTS. as i also stated. Being a boss in real life, ive ran into this many times. Its human nature to want to be appreciated but i cant make everyone a CO. Else im going to make EVERYONE a CO. Yet, what im proposing seems like an EASY SOLUTION. Having awards for players without ability of kicking is an easy solution.
PLUS it gives incentives for players to be loyal and play better. Instead of being greedy for war loot and getting only one star on a base they could not possibly even 2 star. or donating the minimum.
good for that person who has ONLY all co-leaders. I thought about that too. the same who complain that there are too many co-leaders, are the ones who want to be Co leader. Like i said, i doubt im the only once since it happens with new members and seasoned.
I honestly dont see how it would be that difficult in coding those types of awards for players and it would appease the whole clan. as long as they could only be given out by the Leader.
Everyone would like it except the couple on here who are better than everyone else and highly disagree
Anyway, its just a suggestion
I'd say that you can make a new rank besides member called "Trusted" or "Loyal."
This is just a rank, doesn't do anything but make you look special, or it can grant immunity from a elder's kick.
There definitely needs to be more ranks/titles in clans, co leader & elder don't cut it, kind of monotonous and pointless when there are only 2 ranks, and not much more privilege or difference between the 2
If members are leaving your clan because they are not being named co-leader then do you think they will even join when they see you already have the max number of co-leaders?
I believe that in most cases where people leave because of not being promoted there are two main reasons. 1. They are immature players and what the title so they feel superior to others. 2. The clan has not done a good job of establishing a consistent pattern for promoting players.
Problem #1 is an easy fix, let the immature players leave. Problem #2 takes a bit of finesse. Our clan requires a long period of service before members are even considered, and it's not tied to their war performance. We state this up front. Members not willing to stick it out are not worthy of being considered for promotions. Promotions are given for concrete examples of leadership (I.e. helping other clan mates strategies for a war attack, recruiting quality players, etc). If someone comes to me and asks why they haven't been promoted I have to be able to point to specific things they could be doing. if they improve on that then you need to reward them with a promotion.
If you can successfully establish a good pattern of rewarding leadership skills then the immature players will leave (which is a good thing) and the mature players will work for their promotions. If player A works really hard to help his clan mates out, then you promote him and say, 'hey, you helped player B and player C with their wAR attacks and we greatly value you going above and beyond' Now players B and C know what is expected to earn a promotion and they begin helping players D, E, & F. It's a wonderful thing.
