Just right now you have to consider the following:
From just the looks of it, it's fairly obvious where the spring traps are located. The spring traps next to the cannon might be set up with 1 giant by a smart attacker. Also the placement for the springtrap next to the archer tower seems to be set there against wallbreakers, not that useful against giants.
As for the south:
It just seems to me, that attacking from the south west/east (where the cannon+mortar is) might be the weak spot of the base as one could get in the core then fairly easy, considering that there are also no traps there. You may remove one wall between the cannon and the archer next to it and place a spring trap there to move the giants away from the core

agreed my spring traps next to cannons are obvious but my main reason is just for funneling purposes. even if a smart player sets it off with 1 giant and then raids, they will continue making their way around being hammered by splash damamge and then run into 2 big bombs. the other spring traps in front of archer, like you said, are for wallbreakers. the staggered walls force the WB into the exact spot where the spring trap is no matter what you do because they go for T intersections. these staggered walls also funnel in archers and barbs they get wiped out with wizard tower (uploading defense replays, i have 3 of them so far).

that said, i am going to remove one wall between cannon and archer, i didnt really think of that but it makes more sense. i'll let you know the results! thanks

I have been looking for a decent town hall 8 farming base w/ 4 motars since the update. This base fits perfectly i see that you have used the town hall 8 farming base in Galadon's video it works very well hope this one is the same. Clash on!

I seem to be having bad luck using this base. Im level 69 and those who attack me are all level 100+ lol.

Hi, I really liked you layout and I'm using it now! One thing I've changed is that I've swapped the barbarian king with the dark elixir drill, because I'm currently farming DE rather than resources, and the DE drill was really exposed (easy picking with some archers and barbarians as a meat shield). If you have some time, test it by yourself and let me know your opinion! I see the point on letting the BK inside the core to protect the storages, but since most attackers come in with goblins in my trophy range, it's a little bit useless...

ahh yes you can do that also, especially if farming DE. however, i farm DE also but it is slow colelcting from drill. farm DE by raiding! you'll get a lot more quicker, then you can have Barb king protect it. still works good both ways. Cheers

are you trying to store a lot of loot? how are youre defenses looking? anytime a TH8 gets hit by a TH9 or TH10 it will be bad, unless you have defenses near maxed out.
