Pumpkin Pies & Pumpkin Soups Event Prizes etc

I have gotten 10 axes, 5 saws, 5 shovels and the spooky tree. I'm hoping it's the birdhouse for last prize...

Very happy with the prizes. The only decorations I'm missing are the candy and the birdhouse. Would like the candy as well so I'll probably end up buying that if I get the birdhouse for last prize.. Still ways to go though, 20 more pies...

I got 10 axes,5 shovels,5 saws,10 shovels and i am working towards last thing-I hope that i will get something good:D

I'm REALLY hoping for the bat treehouse for my fifth prize.
I'm doing my bit (and as much beyond the 5th prize as I can) for the global event. This will be my first statue!;)

Back to the interim prizes. I can hire Tom for tools...they don't make the event feel special for me. I don't mean to be grumpy, but I did want to put in my 2-coins-worth in favor of decorations as prizes for future special holiday events.

I am am liking the tools. I am picky about decorations and have stored many. Don't like to cover the farm with gee-gaws. Wish we could sell or exchange the 'dessicrations'. My two coins' worth!

if you or anyone else have the snail in the hat we have coins. Just sayin for the future :)

The idea of a community garage sale for undesired decor has been posted before -- we'd love a bunch of snails :)

Thanks to SC, ever since the bee update they have been considerate about the fact that the quantity of axes we need has changed and implemented them as a prize to the latest event, plus the number of axes we get from harvesting has considerably increased with the last update. I love how fast they react about players needs and requests!

The farmer put the last batch of pies in the oven and started another pot of soup before hauling herself wearily to bed. She'd harvested a fresh load of pumpkins and decorated the patch with hay bales and jack-o-lanterns. A new crop of pumpkins would be looking festive in the morning. The haunted maze was ready for visitors (if only the chicken who was hiding in the coffin ready to fly out and say, "Clu-u-uck, bru-u-uck, BOO!" at visitors to the maze would quit sticking her head out to see if anyone was coming yet!).

The only thing missing was the bat house. The bats wanted to help with the fun, but they were twittering about having to hang from a regular bird house. The farmer sighed. Money was tight on the farm. Diamonds were being saved to expand production, but it seemed like there were never enough diamonds or coins. Fortunately she had regular customers in town, but she really wanted to make a visit to her farm special.

The next morning, she loaded up her pies and soup and set out to make her contribution to the global goal. She crossed her fingers as she turned in her 84th pie...and...

BAT TREEHOUSE!!!

Somewhere I have a screenshot of a farm name that looks exactly like a pig's face. I believe it is in Thai script which has curly little letters that lend themselves to a piggy nose.
