I rage a tree a day - all part of the fun!
I recently came across a 350K gold base and when I went to put down my first troop near the top, pressed "end battle" by mistake. Someone put me out of my misery please...
I lightning bushes twice a day as well.
As the phrase goes "You can't fix stupid."
I've done this accidentally as well, fortunately rarely. But still, it was an accident, and all my fault.
I hate it when I drop an archer instead of pressing next and I'm against a hard village. I don't like losing trophies and at the same time I don't like gaining too much trophies. I just want to stay at a range that has good loot. I don't like losing trophies so I don't go into the range of people with low loot.
I submitted this question in the suggestions section before, and so many people claim that it NEVER happens to them, and it was a terrible idea.
Double tapping is a terrible idea, that's what most people when they are spamming troops.
I suggested a 3 second spell recharge time before it lets you drop another one.
Another idea would be to have a small sound when you select a new troop/spell from the bottom bar, that way you can audibly tell that your change in troop/spell actually worked.
I rarely use spells now, so this problem rarely happens to me, however I most commonly accidentally spam Wall Breakers after I tried to switch to barb/archer. The troop selection area should be more sensitive so we can change troops easier, I think it commonly mistakes a 'tap' as a drag because we're in a hurry.
I think the current system is fine. Mis tapped spells make me chuckle when it happens.
You should have to hold it for a second before it actually drops
