Why is the removal of levels a bad thing?


If this game never had them, would you be playing thinking "Man, this game could really be improved by adding some sort of level system determined by three unrelated factors?"

since im not a gemmer, it is nice for me to show status with my level.. since i cannot afford to go high into cups... people looked up to high levels and this 'ah wow id like to be that'

for me its about attention, and showing off to everyone the hard work you have spent on the game.. anybody can spend money to get to high cup level (yes it takes skill to be the highest ones...) why should they get all the attention?!

I'm not a gemmer either. If you really want it for recruiting/bragging, people can still see it. It just requires two taps now.

What's the point in trying to get a level and league badge, sc already said they don't have any intentions of adding it even after 100+ people voted they wanted both.

i see, fair enough..

but the topic of the thread is why cant they add levels along side of the badges.. which is what pretty much every player on the forum wants?
