A neat solution to many, many problems.
When the game was made last year, people played how they wanted, a complete free for all, and everyone seemed really happy. As soon as they took away the goblin mission reset, loads of people started getting unhappy, and it has continued ever since.
Basically, SC made a massive change to the game. In the early days, there was so much loot from the goblin missions that everyone attacked purely for trophies. Farming players did not exist. Then SC nerfed the missions, everyone dumped trophies and the anger began as players raided lower levels. It hasn't changed.
If SC really, really wants people to stop hurting new players at low levels (i.e. stop farming), and have folks push for trophies, the solution is obvious.
Reset the goblin missions, even if only once a month, and there will be enough loot for people to get in order to fund high trophy attacking. Folks who want to be at the top will still buy loads of gems, as what is available won't be enough. Players who can't wait for upgrade building times will still buy gems. The complaining will cease to a decent degree, and farmers will up trophies as resources are available from missions. New players will have more fun not being constantly raided. All will be well.
There you go, SC, one click of the button, once a month.
