New th9 trophy base 4th mortar
How I would attack you in a clan war
Clearly I havent seen the precise coverage of each defence, however I dont think my strategy would be affected that much if the timing and deployment were done correctly. As a trophy pushing army nobody is going to be using the following army but from a clan war point of view you might use it.
I would lure the cc by using a couple of hogs to the south. Then draw cc to the East, where there is only one arch tower defence. I would use 2 witches and some wizards behind them and a couple of barbs (lure and distraction purposes) to kill cc. Hopefully the cc and arch tower will attack the skeletons and barbs and not the witches and wizards. If it is a dragon in the cc I may need my queen instead of witches.
Then the wizards will hopefully attack the outside buildings to the left and right of the army camps. These would need to go to stop troops going round the outside. in the meantime I can blow up at least one wall with wallbreakers and enter the east of the base with golems....
then a jump spell should take barb king and valks straight into the centre of the base and then straight away a rage spell on 10 valks followed by a heal spell when required (max valks have 1200 health) will destroy the whole core including th and heros. Then another jump spell to get my valks out of the core and attacking other buildings...or i might go for a rage or heal instead to be absolutely sure of the th, and give up on the valks once their job is done using them as a distraction whilst other troops do damage.
I would use my clan castle and remaining housing space for witches and wizards and queen for backup who will together get me over 50% for a second star by destroying point defences and external buildings.
The third star is down to luck as to how well the troops do and how easy it is to kill the cc.
I must admit it would be interesting to see the percentage I get with that strategy.
On balance with a bit of practice at using valks, the above combination of troops can defeat most th9 bases for 2 stars where there is a large core and a jump spell plus wallbreakers can reach the centre. In fact with the right base you can even use the cc to lure the valks into the centre rather than drawing it first (doesnt work if there is a dragon). Walls and dragons are the valks worst nightmares. A similar strategy could be applied to GoWiPe by a th10 player but since at th9 max valks are better than lvl3 pekkas and pekkas take up alot of housing space GoWiWiVa is my preference as a th9 player (if you have 4000de to spare and max valks, lvl4 golem and lvl2 witches).
However in view that very few people fully upgrade and use valks and you have tried to protect against pekka with teslas...7/10 for avoiding 2 stars and 9/10 for avoiding 3 stars.
As a concluding remark - at th9 it is impossible to be anti-everything. Players that use hogs alot will know how to outwit an anti-hog base. On anti-dragon bases it is still difficult to defend against 2 stars from a player that knows how to use dragons well. Balloonions are a cost effective way of 3starring th8 and th7 bases. Experienced players know how to wreck a base for 50%. We all just practice with our favourite troops until we know which strategy and army composition will defeat the base we are going to attack.
I want your current farming base!
Hey I've just come across your base just now and I'm impressed with your current farming base layout. I wanted that base so if you don't mind can you post the picture of your base? Thanks!
