I'm hoping to max out both of my heroes to level 40 in the least amount of time necessary. In order to achieve this, I must constantly upgrade/train both heroes at the same time at all times. This thread was made to record my progress as I attempt this feat. Some key points to consider:

• Both the Barb King and Archer Queen require a total of 227.5 days each to upgrade to level 40. That's a total of 455 days if one was to alternate upgrading between the two. But since I will be upgrading both of them at the same time, it will only require me 227.5 days.
• The Barb King requires a cumulative total of 3,752,500 DE to reach level 40. While the Archer Queen requires 4,172,500 DE. That's a grand of 7,925,000 DE. This means that I should farm an average of about 32,066 DE per day if I am to achieve my goal. However as I level up the heroes, their costs significantly increase at a point where I will need average over 50,000 DE per day.

Date I upgraded to TH 9 and obtained the Archer Queen: September 22, 2014

If I upgrade non-stop without delay, then an estimation of when can I expect level 40 heroes?

Barbarian King: Level 11 + 4 days, so that's 31.5 days of upgrade I've already completed. 227.5-31.5 = 196 days remaining. 196 days from today is April 22, 2015. For level 30, I should reach it by February 11, 2015.

Archer Queen: level 7 + 3 days, so that's 13.5 days of upgrade I've already completed. 227.5-13.5 = 214 days remaining. 214 days from today is May 10, 2015. For level 30, I should reach it by March 1, 2015.

Most likely it will take ~240 days instead of 227.5 days, because of supercells builder timer inflation bug

Unless you decide to gem off the extra time increment added by the bug, of course

Yup, you're right and I am aware of this. The reason I have a target date of completion is so that I can compare myself at the end of my journey of how many days I was off by. And I will continue to not gem my heroes' timer. I don't know of anyone that has completely and continually upgraded both heroes at the same time without gemming their timer and has recorded their progress. If there is someone that has done so, then I would be very interested in knowing the total amount of days it took compared to the actual time is should have taken.

you should record one raid every time each hero upgrades. would be funny to see the progression and at least you get to use them once!

Great write-up. I wanted to max(30) my heroes as well, but I'm getting burned out. Currently AQ 20 and BK 18. My defenses have been maxed for awhile. Everything in my Lab is maxed except for Valks and Hounds, which I won't ever use. I have about 16 lavas and the rest legos.

I've been fiddling around with going to th10 cause I'm getting super bored farming DE.

What percentage of your raids do you fail to get the DE storage you wanted to get to?

I have been failing on about 10% or so I think, very rough estimate, could be slightly higher. Even if I do, there usually was a solid amount I took from the drills in that raid.

I like to check in on your base every once in a while. It sure must be nice to have 200k de just sitting there waiting for a hero to finish! I'm only about 30k de ahead of the curve right now.

I am on a drive to get mine to level 30. Trying to to both at same time as well. Both upgrading to level 14 at moment. Think the early levels easy. Will get hard once in the 20's me thinks.

Yea I would say less than 10% of my DE storage raids fail. Mainly because I've become really experienced with the army composition I use. I know to what extent my army can take me within a base, how to tackle the different defenses within a base, and what type of bases I need to avoid, etc. And I only attack a DE storage only if I'm at least 90% certain that I can get it. In the next episode, I'll try including some fail storage raids, in which I "almost" had it, but failed.
