Ash's Journey to Level 40 Heroes and Dark Elixir Farming Guide

Having some issues raiding dark elixir at TH10 since the AQ AI changes, she seems to avoid storages like the plague when using ground raids (yes I know, "learn to funnel your troops")

Any army or league suggestions? I've mostly used gibarch recently (20-24 Giants, 80-100 Archers, 10 WBs, 20-40 barbs). Currently farming at Gold 3, finding plenty of raids with 2000-2500 DE. I've avoided using barch since the cook time is just about the same as gibarch, and haven't used loonion much because it is DE heavy, though it does seem to be the easiest and most reliable strategy. I know BAM is the fastest, but I feel like I have to settle for much smaller raids with it.

Sorry guys, a bunch of my recordings have been corrupted so I won't be able to upload a video today. Will definitely try tomorrow. I currently have both my Heroes upgrading and my Lava Hound going to Lv2 and have farmed about 120K+ DE in the last 2 days.

Awesome Light! I would recommend starting your TH10 upgrade when your AQ is Lv 28, as there's a 14 day upgrade time for TH10. Be sure to keep us updated with your progress.

BAM is most suited if you're not boosting and will also require you to a lot more patient that any other composition when searching for a base. GiBarch is less efficient, but more effective for coring bases. Balloonion is only a viable method for making fast DE if you're going to boost all your Barracks and farm somewhere high like Crystal 1 or Masters 3.

If you're using your AQ and are looking for an good way to make DE fast, then I would recommend GiBarch and move to Crystal 3 at 1950-2000 trophy range.

1000-1200. DE is really good here. Storage raids of course :)

You'll have to target storages. Check my videos on how I steal DE from the storage with cheap armies.

Hi ash im very fan of your videos and i watch one of your video and you said th rushing is not a very large problem if you raid often and i just want to ask you if im ready to upgrade my townhall because i dindt raid everyday. Im almost max th8 all my walls are lvl8 and all my defence are fully max but im still working to max may collectors and lab should i upgrade my townhall already or stay here and finish everything first

Wallbreaker to lvl5
Healspell to 4 and 5

I'll help you out bud! :) Dpending on what troops you use, I would upgrade them. If you use wallbreakers and giants often, upgrade them. Same for the spells.

I would upgrade today. You are basically max TH8. At early TH9 you are likely to want some cheap upgrades and will put a builder on a collector rather than have them idle. Plus TH9 has more builder time than lab time, so some carryover lab from TH8 is useful (Th8 has more lab than builder, balance the two by upgrading before lab done)

You will only have issues at a given TH level if

• Farming troops are more than 1 TH level behind. Ideally at your TH level, but ok to be 1 behind, but not 2
• Resources in Storages/Collectors - If you don't spend them, someone will take them, so spend them.
• Serious about Clan Wars - You need to find an accepting clan and you'll be fine here too if you have the troops/skills.

Farming troops can be as simple as barch or it can expand to cover gibam+wb+spells. Your troops are already the minimum level for TH9 (TH8 on barch + minion is good enough), so given your max defense/wall status, I'd upgrade today.

It doesn't matter if you're inactive. As long as you farm in Silver inactivity is not a big deal (you don't have to maintain league) and if you spend resources, you won't lose them to anyone. Spent resources can be raided for 0%.
