All I'm saying is if you invested a couple dollars to gem some time of your heroes I think you would enjoy using them on your journey and the fun you would have is 100x. or maybe just have some upgrade overlap.

I'm only 7mnths in w/ Bk11 and AQ12...and nothing is more enjoyable for me than farming or war attacking with both heroes. I also found that the AQ makes reaching DE storages A LOT easier.

To each his own and I hope you get them maxed and after those 227 days get to use them fully!

Nope, never gets boring for me. I'm the type of person that enjoys challenges. For me, it's so much more fun to not use your overpowered heroes, and instead attack DE storage with a bunch of weak troops.

You're 7 months in and only have BK lv 11 and AQ lv 12, but in that amount of time I'll have lv 40 BK and lv 40 AQ http://www.emoticonsfree.org/wp-cont...inking0071.gif. But as you've said, you should go with what you enjoy the most doing. For casual farmers that can't keep both heroes training, I recommend using one of them to farm while keeping the other one under training.

So much DE goes to waste in my overflowing DE storage that I wish I could donate it to others.

I don't really keep count as I TH snipe whenever I find a TH outside. But if I have to estimate, it takes me around 5-7 mins of nexting on average to find a decent amount of DE that I can get. I know that I average at least 1000 DE per raid excluding TH snipes.

Sorry.. BTW I'm a early TH9 with max th8 def, skull wall and few violet wall. I decided to farm d.e for my dark troops also for the heroes.

kidcudi88 did a good job making a compilation of some great TH 9 farming bases. If you're wondering where to put the 4th Mortar, just be sure to make it symmetrical or evenly spaced out ranges between the 4 Mortars.
