Let's take some time to thank Supercell..

Thank you, Supercell, for not having any purchase only significant features in your game. I'm sure we've all played some games where the only things that you truly wanted were purchase only, and I'm truly thankful that is not the case in this game. Here, you spend money to speed things up, and I'm perfectly okay with that, because I know I can eventually get everything that they have without spending, just at a much slower speed.

I think everyone needs to stop and realize before they start complaining about money spent, or any of that. Things could be much worse. Does anybody remember Farmville? That game went from fairly interesting to an absolute wallet-breaker seemingly overnight, simply because the only things they gave to people who didn't want to spend money were absolute garbage.

That, and instead of making things better, they just made what was good worse, instead. Nerfing everything instead of buffing other things does not a fun game make.

Supercell does not appear to follow these two Farmville staples, and for that, I thank them.

read again this paragraph. U just declared that you are a noob dude. Is TIME not a significant factor in your consideration? What is your aim for playing this game. If it's just farming and upgrading and you think its ok, that is because you have no AIM for this game. If your aim is to farm and upgrade, have u calculated the TOTAL TIME u need to upgrade TH9 everything? How many years? And do u think u can rush the top in the ladder without gemming?

i would say the one whose noob is you, he didn't say anything about the ladder, your post is absolutely ridiculous and has nothing to do with this thread, pls go dig a hole and hide in it so other people can be free from you negative and ignorant posts

edit: he didn't say anything of time not being an important factor hes just saying thanks because of the fact that its POSSIBLE to go all the way without spending money, he didn't say a word about that it does not take infinity amounts of time

If you consider spending time on an activity as something negative, you shouldn't be performing that activity.

True.

People are so negative towards SC, maybe gems could be a bit cheaper, maybe they could be a bit more supportive of ideas in the forums, but maybe they could bring in features which were paid only like stated. Imagine if the only way you could earn dark elixir was gemming, imagine how much of an impact that would have on the game. I think folk take them for granted, they have after all produced a wonderfully addictive game which is free for everyone to desire.

I agree. Supercell has made an iOS game remain interesting after several months. I normally don't play most PC games this long so was surprised that they were able to formulate this winner of a game.

The highlights of what I've enjoyed from Supercell thus far:

1) Giving golem to TH8....wow
2) Giving TH8 an extra air defense
3) Giving out extra walls
4) Four new troops in a relatively small time frame
5) Consistently spot on and fluid graphics that run smooth as silk over cellular data. Now, when I play their competitor's games, the other games seem so flat and cartoon-like that I can't stand it and come back to Clash.
6) Making a valiant attempt at making trophies mean something.
7) Patient moderators. Really this forum has the best moderators that I've seen in any game. I wonder if they go to some sort of Summer retreat where they get all kum-bi-yah and stuff. If not: Note to Supercell higher-echelon guys > take them out.
8) Not going the route of your competitors by keeping your game selection down to two games. The competitors seem to think quantity is better than quality and it shows.
9) Keeping it iOS only. Seriously, you've already proven that you can make a good profit sticking to one format. Don't go making the same mistake by making a facebook-game (gunshine), PC, or Android game. Stick to iOS.
10) Making TH7 a viable endpoint for your average gamer.
