Since the servers have come back online our clan has been flooded with so many request to join that we had to close it.
Experimenting, I reopened it only to get 5 request in 10 seconds before I closed it again.
Anyone else having this problem?
I mean, we get a lot of request a day, but NEVER this many.

we've always had the same settings.
It is probably because of the advanced settings, try turning your nationality setting to something you've never heard of, people won't find you as easily:)Quote:

For a brief moment, I thought it may be some spy attempt from the clan we are warring with, but there was no way they could have that many folks hit us up.
We have the occasional join request, but this was about a dozen in 30 minutes.
I'm a bit relieved to find out that it's not just us.

I re-opened the clan and changed the country from USA to a less internationally known corner of the globe. The join requests have all but disappeared.
Not an ideal solution if you are actively looking for members online, but for us, it's fine since we generally recruit folks we know personally. If the clan is closed an elder cannot recruit someone and accept them without a co-lead opening the clan up, so this works for us.
Also, I suppose SC have made some correction and my changing the country may not have anything to do with it.
EDIT:
Nope, didn't work. I'm in Eastern Time, USA and when 5:00 rolls around, we get blasted with join reqs. If this weren't a work clan where we know most of each other IRL, I'd probably have 50 members by now :-)
Still, it's very strange that we'd be getting so many reqs now.
