What about the Black Mamba base? I think that one looks really good.

I never was a fan of Ringus. Used it extensively as an early hall 9, and even went back to it as a near maxed hall 9 for some more testing. Personally, I didn't find it all that great.
Great against hog atks, but that was it pretty much it from my defensive logs.
Also, depends on the league you are in. In Gold-low C3 you hardly ever see hogs (think I had 1 hog attack per 75 or so defenses), but they are much more common in C2 and higher so anti-hog might be the way to go if you plan on farming/pushing in that range and above. For an early TH9 farming in Gold, I'd say you don't need to go anti-hog.
I never was a fan honestly of these outer def ring bases. They may protect well against hogs but not against much of anything else, and in all fairness....I'd be more worried about max giants as they are much more common of a farming troop that you fill be facing more frequently anyway.
Problem with these kinds of bases is they are well known and people know how to attack them. You can change up some trap placement/mix things around abit if you like but it's still fairly easy to test if you know the design.
Haha thanks
Since your a relatively new TH9 I would say Algorithm is the best bet. Has a solid design made to deal with giants, which 90% of farming attacks will be. Erebus and River Styx are also good bases. Erebus is a solid design with good funneling on the second layer, and ideal candidate for a new TH9. River Styx is a bit more 'out-there' with a large core which can cause some problems for attackers. Those are your three best bets to me.
