for the record it took me just 20days to get the full 225 skull walls after achieving th8.Quote:

here is my strategy go attack even when not full barracks ( around 170).
snipe th if you encounter them.
attack bases with loot around total of 150k.
build heal spell.

Just build your base and upgrade walls with the extra loot you have. At some point you should have tons of unused elixir.
It totally depends on how much time you are willing to devote to the game. For me it took about 1 month.
Plan your building upgrades so you will have a builder free everyday to dump extra resources on walls. If you want to upgrade fast the last thing you want is to sit on full resources and have people raid you for 300k.
It took me about two weeks. I'm currently at 350 attacks this season.
I currently do 1 wall a day and have done a 1/3 of them so far. Only have enough time to squeeze about 4 barch raids (1hr) every night.
You'll find a lot of afk th8's in gold one after 1pm in the afternoon. No problem farming at least 2.5mil of each in a few hours with Barcher. Good luck to you sir as I am working on my skulls and then legos right now and it's definitely a grind.. but i'm not gonna sit on no lame ♥♥♥ purple wall TH9 base.
I was dumb and waited until the very end of TH8. But the good news is I could allocate all resources to the walls. Took me about 20 days that way.
finished lvl 8 at th8 did about 5 per day. just finished lvl 9 and did about 3-4 per day. i had most of them done before the update for elixir. so i might have done about 20 with elixir and 230 with gold. was a grind but very worth it
