Builder Logic Fail

Builder Logic Fail

Builders use a hammer for everything. Upgrade an elixir collector, beat it with a hammer. Add vines to the side of the Town Hall, beat it with a hammer. Break a giant boulder that IRL would require a tractor to move, hit it with a hammer. Now remember, this isn't Thor's hammer (too hard to spell). This is a construction hammer. This makes no sense. Also, try clearing an obstacle that is far away from your builder's hut. The timer will start before your builder gets there. This implies that the builder is irrelevant. He is just a money hog who bribes higher powers to upgrade your base. If that wasn't bad enough, he makes you wait several days before the upgrade finally happens. The only reason gems work is that the higher powers use the gems as their currency, and they are more than happy to speed up their process with a substaintial amount of gems. That is why the higher beings shove gems into their trees and rocks.

That is just my theory for the lack of logic put into the builder. And remember, it's just a theory, a CoC theory.

Think it'd be quite funny to read about some of the logic fails in CoC, as there are so much!
I got another one you might be interested in:

Pekka-Tesla Logic Fail

So a tesla does doible damage to Pekka. Aside from balancing the game this is so much unlogic!
First of all, it seams quite obvious that Pekka is attracting lightning, because of his metal armor, so the fact that he is the preferred target of the teslas is correct, but that the tesla does double damage to him, is so much wrong. In fact teslas shouldn't do any damage to Pekka, because his armor would work as a lightning rod protecting everything inside against the high voltage.

One questing remains: What's inside Pekka, a human if he were a knight or a samurai, or some technical stuff if he were a robot. Well it doesn't matter, because the armor would protect everything inside him from the lightning, so there is only one possible explanaition: Pekka is a misconstruction!

The lightning would only damage Pekkas inside if his armor had large gaps between their pieces - sounds quite strange for an armor that is as strong as Pekka's, but it's the only way how it could not be protecting against lightning, so eighter Pekka shouln't get damaged by teslas - would be interesting how much this would change gameplay, or Pekka is a complete misconstruction and the mages from the laboratory are not very smart engineers. :D

Most of the stuff the builder beats on with a hammer annoys me.

I take it a bit personal as I am a blacksmith artist by profession and ok, smithing something for the BK makes sense... but why in the heck does he have his anvil out when he is smithing for the AQ? There is nothing that the aq uses that requires smithed outside of her arrow tips, and that is defo not what he is smithing.

Sorry... that has always bothered me. It entertains me that they beat on the bushes though lol

I voted yes because I am always happy to read more to squash my boredom. That said he is a construction worker, so you expect him to bill you for time that he isn't there working (like the 2 seconds he actually worked to clear that bush, when he billed you for 15)

Scientifically speaking, the BK and AQ would become cranky from their lack of sleep, and they would become worse. Also, if someone hit me with a hammer while I was sleeping, I would hit them with their own hammer.

OK so we sort of understand how the builder upgrades things with just a hammer...what I truly want to know is how everyone's bombs manage to stay lit for so long and seem to know whether the person walking on top of it is an enemy or not and, to top it all off somehow manages to only destroy enemies

I also have a logic fail! What about CC troops? They enter your village from the forest, yeah, makes sence! But they leave your village through... The water! Or let's say, they disappear infront of the water! At least there should be a ship or something wich can carry them over the sea! ;)

Im sorry but you are asking a builder to risk his life hitting bombs with his hammer all because you want spikes on your bombs. Ofc he will charge you a fortune whenever possible as potential compensation to his family.

What about the Town Hall. The builder is not in any danger when he upgrades that. And that is one of the most expensive buildings in game. Walls are another good example, except for maybe lava.

Maybe. Remember that Mortar Level 7 has skulls next to it, or maybe he is just in cahoots with a high level witch.
