On the topic of your actual design, here's a pro-con list.
Pros:
- Centralized what should be
- Protected air defenses
- Lots of compartments
Cons:
- Hybrid? The storages aren't protected at all.
- Imperfect mortar triangle
- Lack of funneling means that troops can easily reach the core
